libextutils-parsexs-perl software package provides utility to process Perl XS code into C code, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libextutils-parsexs-perl
libextutils-parsexs-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libextutils-parsexs-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libextutils-parsexs-perl *
You will get with libextutils-parsexs-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
